Although it is evident that victims of police brutality are furious because of
unreasonable treatment, there were multiple views of the violent

unreasonable treatment, there were multiple views of the violent
outbreaks:
POLICE PERSPECTIVE
Policemen thought that the brutal assaults were reasonable. They say that they do it to extract vital information from prisoners for government
interests. They try to conceal and not let the public know what’s going on. Policemen abuse their powers and take advantage of the same people they are supposed to protect. They are stripping innocent citizens of their fundamental rights. They think they are helping, but they're really making matters worse.
VICTIMS PERSPECTIVE
Victims of these violent crimes believe that there are no reasonable reasons for the assaults against them. They say that the police have been committing these crimes for many years, and historians have even found evidence that this goes all the way back to the time of the pharaohs. The victims do not
feel safe, and say that the president of Egypt has done nothing to transform the police from an instrument of regime power into a public service institution.
BYSTANDERS
Innocent bystanders witnessed these attacks on the victims. Sometimes, they would be assaulted by the police themselves. They say that even if the police is only doing their job, they're not suppose to abuse their powers to have to hurt innocent people. One bystander said, “ Where’s the protection? They’re supposed to be protecting us from crime, not committing it!”. Bystanders in other countries are trying to help, but not really caring for the cause. Many people hear about the abuse in Egypt each day, and say it’s a tragic event, but they don't make an effort to demand a change.
These violent crimes have gotten so out of hand, that the government officials of Egypt have stopped denying the facts that officers brutally abuse their victims and even innocent bystanders that are just watching the crime happening. Students from universities across Egypt have stepped up and protest against these outrageous beatings, along with parents, and lots of organizations.
